The Professional Association for Investment Communications Resources (PAICR) is a non-profit group dedicated to investment management marketing and communications professionals, providing education and networking opportunities for members to connect with their peers and industry experts in a collegial, professional environment. PAICR helps members by sharing best practices, benchmarking surveys, and industry trends/tools ­­— all with the goal of helping to move the marketing profession forward.

Our industry and clients' needs are changing rapidly. Priorities have been re-established after the financial crisis, forcing all of us to do more with fewer resources. With more than 10,000 investment solutions available to institutional and retail investors, the role and relevancy of marketing and the need to differentiate has never been more important.

Our history:

In spring 1997, at an industry sales conference, a few like-minded leaders realized there wasn’t an organization dedicated to marketing and communications professionals and most worked in isolation from their industry peers. They decided to establish one focused on the professional development of these industry professionals. As a result, in 1998 more than 150 investment marketing and communications professionals converged at the first annual PAICR conference in Manhattan.

It was such a success that subsequently annual conferences, specialty conferences, and regional events have been held across North America, attracting hundreds of members from the U.S., as well as Canada, Europe, and Australia.
